The following tables show the 2012 Recertification Fees for Tier 1 and Tier 3 countries. All fees are in US dollars.

Recertification by Exam Application

IBLCE is no longer accepting applications for recertification by exam in 2012. The final application deadline for recertification by exam was April 30.

If you submitted a 2012 Recertification by Exam application and have questions, please contact us at iblce@iblce.org.

Please note that if you were due to recertify by exam in 2012 and did not submit an application, your IBCLC certification will expire on October 31, 2012.

Recertification by CERPs Application

IBLCE is in the process of implementing an online application program. This program will be launched in phases. The 2012 recertification by CERPs application process will require that you complete both some printed forms and an online form. Please use the following steps to submit your application for Recertification by CERPs.

Step 1: Recertification by CERPs candidates will need to complete a printed Recertification by CERPs Report, as well as an online application form. Please use the following link to download and print the report.

Step 2: After you complete the Recertification by CERPs Report, please click on the following link to complete the online application form entitled "2012 IBLCE Recertification by CERPs: Americas."

After you submit the online application form, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a copy of your responses. Please check your junk mail folder for this confirmation email if you do not receive it in your inbox within 24 hours of completing the online form.

Step 3:  The next step is to complete the Recertification by CERPs Payment Form and mail your application materials. Please use the following links to download the Recertification by CERPs Payment Form specific to your country of residence.

Once the Recertification by CERPs Payment Form is completed, assemble your completed Recertification by CERPs Report and supporting documentation. Place the completed report, supporting documentation, payment form and payment in a large envelope and mail the envelope to the address on the Recertification by CERPs Payment Form.

Please Note: The fee that you owe is determined by the date that your envelope is postmarked.

• If your envelope is postmarked on or before February 29, 2012, you owe the February 28 deadline fee.
• If your envelope is postmarked between March 1, 2012 and July 31, 2012, you owe the July 31 deadline fee.

Step 4: Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for application review to be finalized.
