Apply to Be a CERPs Provider

All providers of CERPs-eligible or CERPs-approved education must abide by the IBLCE Minimizing Commercial Influence on Education policy. Educators should review this policy and the associated Frequently Asked Questions.

If you offer occasional education that is appropriate for IBCLCs, becoming a Short Term Provider is most likely the best option for you. Please use the following links for details about becoming a Short Term Provider.

The Guide for Short Term Providers of CERPs-Approved Education includes details about provider requirements.

Download the Short Term Provider Supplement to obtain application and payment forms.

Experienced educators who offer many different programs in a given year may be interested in becoming Long Term Providers of CERPs-approved education. If you have previously submitted education and had it approved for CERPs as a Short Term Provider, you may want to consider becoming a Long Term Provider. Please read the Guide for Long Term Providers of CERPs-Approved Education for details.

If you are ready to apply or if you are a current Long Term Provider that wants to renew LTP status, please download the Long Term Provider Supplement to obtain the application and payment forms. Please note that applications are only accepted from January 1st to March 31st of each year.
