Dates and Deadlines

Exam

The certification exam for becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant is given once each year on the last Monday in July. The 2008 exam date is Monday, July 28.
 
Postmark deadlines for applications are as follows:

Early:  March 31
Regular:  April 30
Final:  May 15

Recertification

The cost of recertification is the same, regardless of the method of recertification.  However, the postmark deadlines differ.  The table below shows the postmark deadlines for both recertification methods.
