Financial Assistance

Monetary Investment for Lactation Consultant Certification (MILCC) is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides financial assistance to candidates seeking initial certification as IBCLCs and to recertifying IBCLCs.  Assistance is available to candidates who demonstrate financial disadvantage and priority is given to those who work with under-served or disadvantaged families.
 
Successful MILCC applicants are awarded full or partial financial assistance for exam or recertification fees only.  The number of scholarships awarded depends upon available funding.

Applications for MILCC scholarships must be postmarked by the following dates:

            Initial Certification:  February 28
            Recertification:  July 31
